When I was 6 years old and my permanent front teeth began to come in, they were all spotted and blotchy. Then, on top of that, two of my permanent upper front teeth were completely missing! Lucky for me, my dad is one of the top dentists in Michigan, Dr. Doug Callow. First I had to have orthodontic treatment to straighten my teeth and bite. Dr. Cynthia Fee did a wonderful job of aligning my teeth and positioning them so that just the right amount of space was present for the missing teeth. Then I had 6 porcelain veneers placed on my upper teeth, and the two missing teeth were replaced with all porcelain Maryland bridges (bonded bridges). After my top teeth were restored, I had porcelain veneers placed on my six lower front teeth. I spent a lot of time in the dental chair, but it was a lot easier than I thought it would be and didn’t hurt at all. Thanks Dad, I love my beautiful smile, and I love you too!
